Mackenzie is dedicated to supporting children and teens to develop functional life skills, including activities of daily living, handwriting, and fine and gross motor skills. Mackenzie strives to create a positive therapy environment where children feel comfortable exploring new skills. She values working closely with families to ensure therapy strategies are realistic and can be seamlessly integrated into daily life.
Mackenzie holds a Learning Without Tears Handwriting Specialist Certification. She obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and a research-based Masters in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, both from Western University.
Mackenzie’s favourite activities outside of work include tennis, knitting, and experimenting in the kitchen!

Carolyn Chan
(She/Her/Hers)

Carolyn enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities utilizing a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach. She aims to support children in building the confidence needed to engage independently in their everyday activities. Carolyn is especially interested in working with school-agers to build on functional fine motor, visual-motor and handwriting skills.
She is trained in Handwriting Without Tears, Therapeutic Listening, and The Learn, Play, Thrive Approach to Autism. Carolyn holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University and an Honours BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto.

Eunice Fung

Eunice enjoys working with young children to support positive feeding experiences, promote oral motor skills, and build confidence around eating. She uses a responsive, child-led approach to help children expand their food repertoire while supporting overall development and independence.
Eunice has specialized training in feeding and oral motor therapy, including TalkTools Oral Placement Therapy and Melanie Potock’s “It’s Not Just About Swallowing”. She also has training on Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) for children with autism. Eunice received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and an Honours BSc in Biology at McMaster University.

Verena Mikhail

Verena is passionate about working with toddlers, children, and young adults with diverse needs. She incorporates meaningful activities, according to each child’s unique strengths and interests, into each therapy session. Verena enjoys collaborating with children and their families to address goals in the areas of executive functioning, emotional regulation, handwriting, and fine and gross motor skills.
Verena is formally trained in Handwriting Without Tears and the SOS Approach to Feeding. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and an Honours BSc in Life Sciences, with a Mental Health specialization, both from the University of Toronto.
To unwind and relax, the beach is Verena’s favourite place to be - if you squint your eyes and look into the distance, you’ll probably find her on a paddle board!

Alyssa Ament

Alyssa has experience working with neurodivergent children and youth to address executive functioning, sensory processing, feeding, and fine and gross motor skills. Alyssa’s approach blends creativity, playfulness, collaboration, and personal connection, whilst honouring the unique strengths, preferences, and goals of each child to create individualized strategies and ensure a positive and meaningful therapy experience.
Alyssa is formally trained in the Lori Overland Sensory Approach to Feeding, the SOS Approach to Feeding, Handwriting Without Tears, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. Alyssa holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University and an Honours BA in Health Studies from Queen’s University.

Ester is passionate about working with children and their families to support growth, independence, and joyful participation in everyday life tasks. She has experience working with children to improve and develop their fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, activities of daily living and executive function. She believes therapy works best when it feels fun and meaningful, and she enjoys using play, creativity, and collaboration to help kids build confidence and new skills.
Drawing on a strong foundation in inquiry and problem-based learning, Ester approaches each session with curiosity, flexibility, and care. Ester holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a BHSc in Child Health, both from McMaster University.
